check this dude Jeremy Lin. pretty much the best Asian-American basketball player in the game right now, and the star point guard at Harvard. of course he decided to play for an ivy league school, not known for its basketball prowess, but this kid averaged 16.4 points a game and 4.4 assists, and 4.4 rebounds. To put it in perspective, John Wall (Kentucky Wildcats) who is more than likely going to be a top 3 NBA draft pick, averaged last season 16.6 points a game, 6.5 assists, and 4.3 rebounds. Their stats are nearly identical. John Wall plays in a tougher conference and of course was a freshmen, but this dude is ASIAN-AMERICAN. I mean come on…let’s be real. People still yell racial slurs at Jeremy when he plays. That’s how unaccustomed people are to seeing an asian brotha dunking on a black brotha. he’s even getting props from Dick Vitale and Andy Katz from ESPN. so he gets props too from me even if he goes undrafted. BADASS.

Hideki Matsui aka Godzilla - The 35-year-old Japanese baseball player received the World Series Most Valuable Player award for leading the Yankees to their 27th Major League Baseball title. Who would have guessed an Asian brotha would win an MVP award for a true-blue American sport? He doesn’t even speak fluent english, and had to give his acceptance speech through a translator. BADASS

Dinh Kim Loan - she’s been body building for 3 yrs and already has won 3 Asian championship competitions. I’m not saying I’d make out with her, but she looks like she would kick my ass even though she’s only 1.5m (almost 5 ft) tall. BADASS.
Pete Hahn - founder and creative director of Turntable Lab, probably one of my favorite record stores in the world. It first started more as an online retailer, and I can definitely remember buying some panty dropper hit records from them back in the good ol college days. But now they sell everything from Apple Macbooks to fresh tshirts to books. BADASS.

Sung Choi - founder of the footwear company CLAE. these are some of the freshest shoes out right now in my opinion. CLAE has done an amazing job of creating a new modernized style of sneaker without sacrificing the comfort of athletic footwear. and the style isn’t overly flamboyant. real subtle. real fresh. BADASS.
Karen O - half korean (born in Korea), half polish (grew up in Jersey). lead singer of the rock band Yeah Yeah Yeahs. has performed on the VMA’s, Lollapalooza, All Points West, SNL, etc. recently scored the soundtrack for the new film Where The Wild Things Are. you don’t really see a lot of hot asian chicks ripping the stage apart. so I give Karen freshness points for doing her thing and having her own style. I’d like to see a cat fight between Karen and Gwen Stefani. BADASS
Chinese skateboarding - China is home to the world’s largest skatepark. there are around 50,000 skaters in the country, with a total population of over 1.3 billion. that’s a lot of people who are missing out.
Miss Info - hip-hop’s gossip and news queen. hailing from chitown, but now a longtime harlemite. if Diddy’s baby’s mama is sleeping with his half-step-brother’s cousin’s uncle, M.Info has probably already tweeted and blogged about it. she’s also got a book “Bling Bling: Hip Hop’s Crown Jewels”.
